There’s no “one way” to help at Save The Animals Foundation (STAF). Volunteers work directly with animals, but also behind the scenes helping with events, fundraising, or maintenance. Whether you prefer cats, dogs, or a little of both, these core roles are where most volunteers begin their journey with us.
Due to insurance requirements, all volunteers must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18 years old and interested in supporting STAF, we encourage involvement through donation drives.
All volunteers begin in direct animal care—as a Cat or Dog Volunteer—where they provide the essential support our animals rely on every day. As you become more familiar with the shelter, you may be invited to take on additional roles that match your interests and strengths. From grant writing and graphic design to event planning, social media, and building maintenance, these behind-the-scenes opportunities allow experienced volunteers to make an even deeper impact on STAF’s mission.
