Flying Pig Volunteers Needed - Sunday May 3rd!

Volunteers needed Sunday, May 3rd at the Flying Pig Marathon!!! **REGISTER by Monday, April 20th if you want a FREE T-shirt!** The marathon will donate at least $500 if STAF gets 30 or more people registered for our location on the course. Our location is walking distance to STAF. Your friends can also register! We’ve been voted the top 3 favorite locations on the course for over 5 years in a row, so we know you’ll have fun! We even have animal and rescue-themed music! HOURS: 7-11 A.M., which are flexible! Elite runners arrive at 7:40, but the busiest time will be 8:15-9:15ish. TASK: Several options! Pass out Swedish Fish (our assigned item)! Cheer (noisemakers provided)! Hold up encouraging posters! We have some posters, but you can also make some to bring. LOCATION: The triangle at Erie and Murray Avenue (walking distance to STAF). There’s lots of space to spread out. Lawn chairs are ok.
